HIV/AIDS awareness campaign

Almost all countries are under the threats of HIV/AIDS. The globalization, liberalization and privatization lead international trades without any restrictions. So, the tourism and mobility among countries are increasing than ever.

In our project area there are high risk people around Sri Rangam. The famous temple falls in Sri Rangam is tourist places thousands of pilgrims are visiting the temple every day. so it the high risk area for HIV/AIDS spread. During the reporting period we organized a campaign on HIV/AIDS at Sri rangam. The main activities were distributing leaflets, stitching posters, performing cultural songs and organizing a mini exhibition. Lodge owners, lodge boys, hotel owners, suppliers, mainly participated in the campaign. The campaign activities created a mass awareness among the people and toursits
